What Actually Goes Into A Model Shoot?
http://annedickson.co.uk/wp-json/oembed/1.0/embed?url=http://annedickson.co.uk/books/a-voice-for-now/ Interested in a model shoot? Is this a question you have been thinking about? Are you considering looking into what a modeling agency can do for you? Could you make the cut?

http://jammuemarket.com/product/fortune-soya-2-ltr/?add-to-cart=4721 These are all great questions. So let’s chat about what goes into a modeling shoot. First of all you have to make the commitment for a session. This session will give you lots and lots of options. We are going to use Gabby as our example, because she just went through this.

4 Steps For The Perfect Model Shoot
- Contact an agency and ask what they need. Gabby found out that her agency required a shot with no makeup, a full length shot and a headshot. We started our session with these images, before she got into hair and makeup. During a modeling shoot, hair and makeup is essential, but we completely understand if there is a requirement for “test shots”.
- Have the right look. For Gabby’s model shoot, I decided to provide the clothes because I know what photographs well and what looks good on camera. If you are comfortable picking out clothes, then you may do so on your own. Just remember, if you are a model, you will almost NEVER wear your own clothes. So this might be good practice of wearing clothes that are not your style, or frankly, you don’t even like.
- Move, move, move. It is important to be relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. I know how to pose your body and make you look good, but you have to do your part too. You have to move in front of the camera. Not all photographers will offer you poses. It will be your responsibility to move and pose yourself. This is a great time to practice moving your body during a model shoot.
- Pick out your favorite images for your portfolio. Of course you want to look good in all your images, but I can help you pick out the images that really show off how a model shoot should look like. You want images that show range and different angles and poses. I will help you narrow down the images you should include in your portfolio.
