Outrageous on Top of Outrageous
She is just outrageous on top of outrageous. It’s an absurd style. It’s like nothing we have ever done before. Consequently, I feel like we started to try to outdo from one girl to the next. Thus googly eyebrows may have accomplished this one.
Intentionally Not Matching
We intentionally tried not to match anything on Makayle’s look, but it’s funny how it came together. The outfit coupled with the eye color actually did match. At this point in my life I think everything matches. I guess that is what absurd style is.
Valerie’s Thoughts: The main thing that we came to first was the outrageous rollers in the hair. After the rollers, came the outfit. The two of those things combined made her somehow almost scream. Her whole look was like a scream.
Absurd Style In The Outrageous Bingo Hall
Sarah’s Thoughts: As we were putting together this look, it hit me that it reminded me of the mom in Matilda. The mom screamed “I hit the jackpot.” She had on leopard and weird vibrant color. Her hair was curly because she had just pulled her rollers out of her hair. That woman looks like if bingo threw up on a person. With Makayle, she embodied it. Outrageous red shoes, leopard pants, green top, the rollers. It’s like she was sitting in a 1970’s bingo hall, waiting to call out bingo. So much so, that we started to call her Bingo. We only know Makayle as Bingo now. It’s absurd style in the outrageous bingo hall.
Sarah now has a theme song. It goes like this: Weird shit I find at Val’s house. It’s outrageous that I had all of the stuff to create this look at my house, with the exception of the pink rollers, which I bought at the Dollar Tree.
