One of my favorite things about this session was that there were three different generations of the bee squad there! I started with my very first group of girls in 2015. And ever since the bee squad family has just kept growing. Having so many of the girls all together, it really does feel like one big family.
The girls are all so supportive of eachother, and I watched them all encourage eachother while we were taking pictures. It makes my heart so happy to know that we have created something so special.
It was spring and the flowers were looking so beautiful. So I decided to have an impromptu photoshoot just for fun! I texted my bee influencers and former bee squad members and asked them if they wanted to be a part of a spontaneous spring shoot!
Of course not everyone was able to come at so last minute, but I was happy that so many girls were able to. We spent time laughing with eachother among the gorgeous flowers on a sunny spring day.
We also took some pictures on this cute boat that was resting on the side of the pond. It was ready for pictures! The girls were terrified it was going to fall back into the water when they sat in it, but luckily it didn’t. And I love how in the picture the little boat looks like it’s actually in the water.
One of the funniest things that happened during this session was when Emma got caught during the game “asassin.” The assassin saw her Instagram story picture and found out where she was. She tried to run, but it was too late. So I guess the biggest lesson learned is, don’t reveal your location on social media when you’re playing assassin!
