Each year, Valerie and Sarah want to challenge their creative talents. They get a group of students together to show the students being beautiful on the inside is more important than being beautiful on the outside. Being made up and photographed in a “pretend world” may make each student feel beautiful, but what comes out of it is so much more important. They give back to their community by selling tickets to the gala and choosing the organization that will receive the proceeds. The students are in charge of the event and they do it all.
Sarah and Valerie pick a theme and photograph each student individually. They spend hours and hours of preparation to make each session a fantastic, styled piece of art.
