This is the beautiful Ms. Lexi. Lexi goes to Gull Lake High School and I am so very, very glad that she came to see me for her senior pictures.
I have started to get my girls to do selfies for the before and after. I think it’s fun to hand them my phone and say “Selfie time!”. Not everyone is a natural at selfies, but Lexi is. Lexi, I need you to show me how to create a cute SnapChat. I downloaded it, because you told me to! Now I just need you to make me a rockstar at it.
I am really good at a few things. Making girls feel beautiful is one of those things. When they come into the studio, I make them feel as pretty as they look. You know I’m all about how beautiful you are in the inside, because it shows through to those who truly look at you.
About once a year, I get a really, really beautiful girl in the studio. Lexi, I think you are that girl. But my problem is, I don’t think I let you know how beautiful you were during the session. I often tell girls how pretty I think they are. Did I say that enough to you? I don’t feel like I did. And there is a reason for that. I feel like you are so pretty, that you have to know how pretty you are. So, therefore, I didn’t say it as much, because you MUST already know it. See where I am going with this? So, I hope by now, reading this blog post, you know how pretty I think you are. I love your smile. I love the right side AND the left side of your face. I love your mole. I think it makes a beautiful you.
For the Dream portion of her session, Lexi choose the beach. It’s such a big part of who we are in Kalamazoo because we are so close. I am so glad you make beach living a part of your life.
This has to be one of my favorite images of you – the one on the left. It’s so gorgeous! I am going to put it on all my senior magazines for next year. It might even make the cover!
PS. Lexi, I am so glad that you turned me on to American Horror Story. I am already on season 3! However, I now have to sleep with the lights on.
