I’m excited to share this Gull Lake senior session with Kaia. So take a peek through these images for some inspiration for your senior session! Even though it seems far away, juniors, you should start thinking about getting ready for your senior pictures. Because it will come sooner than you think. I am definitely looking forward to senior picture season! If you’re interested in taking your senior session with me, you can send me a message here.
I really loved this velvet chair that we used in this senior session. It added a vintage vibe to the images. And Kaia’s messy bun looks perfect. Achieving the perfect messy bun is an art. So props to you for pulling it off, Kaia!
We had a lot of natural light in these images, and that definitely worked in our favor. Lighting plays a big part in senior sessions and how the images turn out. In this case, the lighting seemed to illuminate Kaia perfectly and added a softness to the pictures.
Snow is Falling
It was a snowy day, so we decided to take advantage of the weather and get a couple of images outside. Most of my senior sessions are in the summer, but sometimes it’s fun to do some in the winter. Gentle snow falling is absolutely beautiful to photograph for senior sessions! I am also living for this velvet beret on Kaia. It looks great on her and perfectly matched her lipstick.
As a photographer in Michigan, I kind of shut down during the winter months. But this senior session happened on a snowy, cold day. Guess what? It didn’t matter because they are some of the most gorgeous images. Let the snow come. Let the cold weather come. Bring it on Michigan. I’m not going to stop photographing just because you turn into a snowy tundra. Thanks for choosing to do your Gull Lake senior session with me, Kaia!
