Sierra Mason just graduated from Gull Lake High School and is hoping to attend Hope and Alma. She enjoys Model UN, bowling, photography, writing and antique shopping. She isn’t sure what she wants to do after college yet, but she is keeping her choices open, and is really excited leave high school and all the cliques and drama behind and experience the freedom that comes after graduation. Although Sierra might not know what she wants to do with her life, she has the drive and determination to do whatever she puts her mind to!
The three words she uses to describe herself are fun, happy, outgoing, which I have to agree describe her perfectly. Sierra was such fun to work with! She has an outgoing personality that really came through during her session. Her bucket list includes traveling, climbing a mountain and sky diving.
Her definition of true beauty varies from person to person. With external features, some people think freckles are more beautiful than no freckles, while others would disagree. Same thing goes for body type. She thinks that a common misconception for teen girls in today’s society is that boys like skinny girls, but this is only the case for some. So really in this sense, everyone is beautiful to someone. The same thing goes for internal features as well. Everybody has something that they dislike about themselves. But, some of these features somebody else in the world loves. What one person calls “flaws”, another calls “perfection”.
Sierra loves to shop at Maurices and she loves to black clothing because it makes her feel good about herself and works well as part of her aesthetic. Sierra said she never leaves the house without her headphones, her camera and hair ties.
Did you see these amazing balloons that she brought? They were filled with glitter. Everyone needs balloons filled with glitter in their life. I need more of them at sessions too!
When it came to her vision for her photo session she wanted lots of laughter , a few different outfits. Lots of laughter happened!
