I am frugal.
I don’t really like saying I am frugal, but I will admit it if you ask me. I always have been and I feel like that frugality mentality has been applied to my business as well.
But let me back up. I am furgal with my money and how I spend it. If I really, really want something I will save up for it. I do not have credit cards and do not borrow money for things I want. There is an important distinction between being frugal and being cheap.
What is being frugal?
Being frugal means that you sparsely spend money. I like to thing my frugality means that I am calculated with what I spend and how I spend it. It doesn’t necessarily mean spending less. It means that you send money with intention.
What is being cheap?
On the other hand, being cheap means that you know one product is better, more effective, and a higher quality and you choose to get an inferior, less effective and lower quality product instead. In other words, you choose the lesser quality.
Why, yes thank you very much. I am a frugal photographer. It means that I think about my purchases and how they can enhance my skill as a photographer or my ability to be a better business person. I choose quality anyday. However, I choose quality at a calculated cost.
Enter Client Workflow for Photographers
I have been working on this course for a while and I am so excited to release it to the public. This course shows a few ways that I am always striving to SAVE money as a photographer. In this particular course I talk about how I manage my client workflow without spending hardly any money at all. Moreover, I have a fan-freaking-tastic client engagement.
What is in the course?
In this course I teach, first of all the mindset to being frugal when it comes to your business. Next, I teach how I workflow my clients without paying a monthly price for a client management software. Those software systems are great, but they are so expensive that they are not worth it to me. You need to decide if they are worth it to you as well.
The main part of the course teaches you how to use the software that I found that works the best for client workflow, and to be honest, managing my entire life. After we go through how to use this robust software, I teach you my exact client workflow. In fact, It’s amazing.
There are a few goodies thrown in at the end, like other ways that I manage the back end of by business, such as how clients place order and how I manage invoices. I also list everything I think is worth paying for. Which says a lot, because the list is very, very small.
