Don’t photograph at Starbucks
Why do I say “Don’t photograph at Starbucks” because I literally mean don’t photograph at Starbucks. Claire really wanted to shot there because it is her favorite place. But guess what? They asked us to leave. And they did not ask to use leave kindly. So the only advice I can give you is don’t photograph at Starbucks. *DISCLAIMER – if you ask permission first you might get a different response. Just be ready for a “no”.
Claire: Mattawan Senior
This is Claire. Claire WAS senior at Mattawan High School last summer when we took her senior pics. Now she is at Western Michigan University. She a well-rounded student who loves Lacrosse, hanging out with friends, eating, going on adventures and being a nanny during the summer. She wants to be a pediatric nurse once she graduates college, and is really excited about leaving the nest and being on her own after graduation. After getting to know Claire during her time on the Bee Squad, she has the perfect personality for a pediatric nurse, and her ability to focus and know exactly what she wants will surely aid her in that goal.
The three words she uses to describe herself are outgoing, talkative and funny, which all describe her perfectly. Claire was such a blast to work with! She has a hilarious personality which makes you excited to hear the next funny thing that comes out of her mouth. Her bucket list includes going skydiving, visiting Europe again, and any other kinds of travel. She certainly has an adventurous streak!
Claire’s definition of beauty:
Her definition of true beauty is someone who is comfortable in their own skin, overall comfortable with their life and has a great level of comfort with others. When someone is able to obtain that level of mindset, they just become naturally beautiful.
Claire loves to shop at Forever 21 and Francescas, which was obvious from her fashionable yet fun and classy outfit choices she made for her session. Her sense of style is definitely a step above many people her age. Claire said she never leaves the house without her clothes (LOL!), shoes and jewelry. Her favorite color to wear is black because it goes with anything.
When it came to her vision for her photo session she wanted a downtown “city girl” type vibe, which goes perfectly with the cool, mature vibe she gives off. She also wanted to add a fun element to her session by having some photos taken at Starbucks, which really reflected her personality!
