For Madi meaningful places was not necessarily about the location, but that this location said a lot to her. It offered great architecture, great water and great stairs. She felt like she could use those things to tell a story about her personality. Madi is smart, complex and going places. So yes, I would say this location says a lot about who she is as a person.

Aside from meaningful places, I have been testing out new clothes this season. I bought this sheer top from Free People, and it’s fantastic. To give it a styled look, I paired it with a beret. I love how it turned out, and I love even more that Madi was willing to take a chance on it. I know my looks can be a bit “out there,” but I know what photographs well. And I have the most fun with clients who are willing to trust me by moving out of their comfort zone for one minute. If your photographer says, “I bought this great outfit and I think it would photograph well,” you should TRY it. It might be out of your comfort zone, but TRUST your photographer.

About Madi

Madi is a senior at Gull Lake High School, and she aspires to be a chemical engineer. She also has a goal of visiting every continent someday. In school, she is involved in robotics, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Big Brother Big Sister. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, paddle boarding, and binge watching Netflix (me too!).

Madi is also a member of my bee squad, and you can see her in a fun bee squad session with donuts and pastel wigs here.
Madi’s definition of true beauty:
I think true beauty is much more than what is on the outside. Being physically beautiful is never as important as how beautiful someone is on the inside. True beauty is being a nice, caring, kind, and selfless person.
