Last summer I did a huge giveaway. It lasted a week and everyday I gave away something great. The greatest giveaway was the last one – it was for a mini senior session! I remember it very clearly because I scheduled the giveaway while I was on vacation, and I ended up almost getting stuck in Hawaii during a hurricane. So I probably didn’t communicate the best for that particular giveaway, to be honest.
But lucky for me, Holly won, and she was a dream to shoot. Holly goes to Mattawan High School where she plays in the band.
I styled two darling outfits that I absolutely loved. The first outfit falls under the “I don’t care if it matches or not” category. I found this darling floral skirt. But I didn’t want it to look basic, so I paired it with a jean shirt and leopard print earrings. Most people would not normally pair leopard and floral together, but it looked so good! I am so glad that Holly had an “anything goes!” attitude!
I love this image where you can see Holly’s reflection in the window. And with the sunlight beaming behind her, all eyes are on her.
The second outfit kinda reminded me of Victoria Beckham because it had a high necked blouse with the most incredible bow in the back. That deep maroon looked really good on Holly. And her high ponytail frames her face, and makes her look FIERCE.
Two years ago she came along when Hannah had her senior session. You can find Hannah’s senior session here. I remember Hannah’s session and somehow we ended up calling Holly “Pop-tart” the whole session. So when we started Holly’s session I think she kind of wanted me to call her Pop-tart again. Her mom kind of looked at us like we were either crazy or teenagers; not sure which! I love being silly with my seniors. The last thing I want is a boring senior session. Being goofy and crazy makes for good pictures, and good memories!
