http://fidelity-energy.co.uk/case_study/m-restaurants/m-restaurant-private-dining-1024x644/ I talk about this all the time on the blog, but once again I am going to bring it up. I love, madly love it when clients trust me to be creative with them. On Instagram, I post a few times a year saying “I want to create.” That’s how to view some of my photos, as creations. Not every photo is a creation. Some are just portraits. But when I get a client who trusts me enough to create WITH me, somehow magic happens.
The Ethereal Look
http://heathstreethealth.nhs.uk/wp-json/wp/v2/ Somehow magic happened with Joy to create this ethereal look with me. I found this vintage dress somewhere along the way, probably years ago. I stuffed it in my closet knowing that someday I would be able to find the right person to make magic with it.
The Right Approach
I had no idea that when I told Joy she would create an ethereal photo session that it would look this good. I mean, it’s somehow magic to me. Probably because Joy had the right approach to it. She knew that I didn’t want stiff or posed. I wanted weird and strange. That was exactly what she brought to the session. In the best way possible.
She Brought It
I told her to make her hair giant. She brought giant hair. I told her to make her eye makeup extra. She brought extra eye makeup. (None of that is literal of course, it’s all figurative.) Nonetheless, it was somehow magic when it was all put together. It makes me want to jump out of my chair and do it all over again, but this time with the next ethereal look.
The Bee Squad Gets It
This is what happens with my Bee Squad. We create. These girls show up for me in ways that inspire me so much. I am so thankful for my Bee Squad girls!
