Rushing Through The Day
I don’t have a lot of time to write an entire blog post today, but I have so much to say about these images. Oh, the conundrum. I wanted to quickly share some images from WMU MODA.
Moda
Let me break it down real quick. I follow Bri on Instagram. She’s darling. A while ago she posted that she was working on a project for school. She goes to WMU and is in the student organization MODA. I love WMU MODA and the creativity they create.
Last Minute
Bri posted that she was working on a project and her photographer cancelled at the last minute and she wanted to know if anyone wanted to work with her. I was having a slow week. I think I have said multiple times that a slow week usually means a creative week for me. When I am not busy I tend to get super creative. It’s like resting (or not working) lets my creative juices flow. I didn’t mean for that to sound as gross as it did.
Lovely Company Called The Hive
After hearing what Bri had planned I thought it would be great for me to volunteer to work with her and her project. She had rented 2 dresses from the hive. (I only photographed one dress from the hive.) By the way, that is a LOVELY name for a rental company. Bri rented these dresses for the WMU MODA Fashion show.
Visions
I asked Bri her vision for the session and she told me all the details. That was my cue to step aside and let her take the lead as creative director of this shoot. I have never actually done that type of session before. She styled and posed the models and I have to say I had a lot of fun doing this session. *The dresses were in the WMU MODA fashion show, not the pictures.
Creative sessions are nothing new for me, and I absolutely loved styled sessions. Connect with me HERE to schedule your creative session and we will make magic, just like these images.
